J.C. Lafler is a native of Michigan, retired after over thirty years of Federal government service as a civilian. Her joy of writing poems and short stories for family and friends, and competing and winning several national writing and speaking competitions, has led to the completion of her first short novel. Active in her church and home life, she continues to promote faith in God and encourage others who are looking for answers.
