Franke Basis Standard kitchen mixer tap Product Code: 115.0707.619 Faucet rotation 360° HANDLE THE SURFACES OF YOUR FAUCET WITH CARE Kitchen faucets are manufactured in various finishes. The glossy chrome finish is the faucet’s surface coating. It is highly durable and very easy to maintain. For cleaning, we recommend using the FRANKE Tap Cleaner in combination with the FRANKE microfiber care cloth or with soapy water or dishwashing detergents. To remove limescale, use a mixture of vinegar and water or an appropriate descaling spray. Under no circumstances should abrasive cleaners or scouring pads be used, as they will damage the surface finish. The matte stainless steel finish is characteristic of faucets made entirely from stainless steel and is neither plated nor painted. It is a highly durable surface that is easy to maintain. For cleaning, we recommend using the FRANKE Tap Cleaner spray in combination with the FRANKE Microfiber Care Cloth or soapy water, dishwashing detergents, or even liquid cleaning creams. PVD: The PVD coating on faucets excels in durability. However, we do not recommend using abrasive cleaners for maintenance. To remove limescale, use a mixture of vinegar and water. For regular maintenance, we suggest using the FRANKE Tap Cleaner spray in combination with the FRANKE Microfiber Care Cloth or simply soapy water or dishwashing detergents. Stainless steel (surface treatment) and other colored and metallic finishes are spray-painted with enhanced color, making them highly susceptible to rough handling. If used carelessly, there can be faster wear and chipping of the colored surface (e.g., hitting with a pot or pan). For cleaning, we recommend using the FRANKE Tap Cleaner in combination with the FRANKE Microfiber Care Cloth or simply soapy water or dishwashing detergents; do not use liquid cleaning creams. Gently remove limescale after softening it with an appropriate agent (vinegar solution or descaling product). Never use dry powders or pastes to clean kitchen faucets. In areas with hard water, we recommend frequent cleaning of the faucet surface to prevent mineral build-up. We also suggest regularly cleaning the aerator (spray head) in the faucet to avoid clogging with calcium deposits and thus restricted water flow. If the aerator becomes heavily contaminated, we recommend purchasing a new one from a DIY store, plumbing supplies store, or from Franke’s supplier. Do not use detergents, solvents, chemicals, metal scrapers, alcohol, etc., to clean the surface of the faucets.
